Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Your information, used only for what you asked.

mghoz.com collects only what you choose to send, and uses it to run your assessment, reply to you, or send what you signed up for. Nothing is sold, and nothing is shared for anyone else's marketing.

Who is responsible

This site is run by Mahmoud Ghoz in Egypt, who is the data controller under Egypt's Personal Data Protection Law (Law No. 151 of 2020) and its Executive Regulations. Questions about your data go to contactme@mghoz.com.

What is collected

Contact form: your name, email, message and, if you add it, your phone number.

Course "Show interest" form: your name, email and, if you add it, your phone number, plus the course you chose.

Assessment: your registration details (name, email, optional phone, how you heard about it, and who referred you), your job title and years in your role, your answers, your report, and any feedback you leave. If you name someone who referred you, their name is used only to credit the referral.

Newsletter sign-up: your name and email.

Bookings go directly to Cal.com.

The assessment asks about your work and leadership behavior. It never asks about your health, religion, political views, or other sensitive categories.

Why it is used, and on what basis

  • To reply to you and to arrange a conversation with Mahmoud (because you asked).
  • To create and email your assessment report (to deliver the service you registered for).
  • To contact you about a course you showed interest in (with your consent, given by a separate tick box on that form).
  • To send you the newsletter (with your consent, given when you sign up; every email has an unsubscribe link).

Mahmoud receives your registration details, can see any report stored on the site, and receives a copy of your report email.

When you show interest in a course, your name and email are stored in Mailchimp as a contact tagged with that course so Mahmoud can email you about it. That tag does not subscribe you to the newsletter; you only receive it if you sign up for it separately.

Where it is kept, and transfers outside Egypt

The site runs on Cloudflare, which stores the data and creates report PDFs. Emails are sent through Resend and arrive in Mahmoud's inboxes at Zoho and Gmail. Newsletters run on Mailchimp and bookings on Cal.com. These services store data outside Egypt, including in the European Union and the United States.

Transferring your data to these services is necessary to provide what you asked for, and by registering for the assessment or submitting a form you agree to it. Each provider is bound by its own privacy terms and security measures.

Cookies and analytics

The site uses a few cookies it needs to work: to keep you signed in to your assessment and to run Cloudflare Turnstile, which protects the forms from bots. Google Analytics loads only after you accept the cookie notice, and the contents of your forms are never sent to it. You can change your cookie choice at any time with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.

How long it is kept

  • Sign-in links stop working after 24 hours and report links after 1 year.
  • Assessment data (registration, answers, reports, feedback) is kept for 2 years after your last activity, then deleted.
  • Contact and course-interest messages are kept for 1 year after the last reply, then deleted.
  • Newsletter contacts are kept until you unsubscribe.

An expired link does not delete your data; the periods above do.

Your rights

You can ask at any time to:

  • see a copy of what the site holds about you;
  • correct anything that is wrong;
  • withdraw consent you gave earlier, for example to course emails;
  • object to a particular use of your data;
  • have your data deleted.

Email contactme@mghoz.com and Mahmoud will answer within 30 days. Deleting your assessment removes your answers, results, reports and feedback. These rights apply to everyone who uses the site, wherever you live; if you are in the European Union or the United Kingdom, your rights under the GDPR or UK GDPR are honored in the same way.

If something goes wrong

If a breach affects your data, Mahmoud will notify Egypt's Personal Data Protection Center within 72 hours and tell you within 3 working days of that notice, with what happened and what is being done about it.

Age

The site is meant for people aged 18 and over. If you are younger, please do not register or submit a form.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is posted here with a new "last updated" date. Changes that affect how your data is used are also announced on the assessment and newsletter pages.
