About the Course

The move from engineer to engineering leader is a career change disguised as a promotion. This practical three-day course builds the leadership capability that technical excellence alone does not provide, following a deliberate arc from leading self, to leading engineering teams, to leading engineering organizations. Participants develop the self-awareness and judgment the role demands, learn to lead culture, conflict, feedback, and performance inside technical teams, and connect engineering to the enterprise through stakeholder management, enterprise architecture, and the metrics that matter. The course serves new and experienced engineering leaders alike who want to lead people with the same rigor they bring to engineering.
