About the Course
Kanban System Design is the required first course toward the Kanban Management Professional (KMP) credential. Participants learn to design a Kanban system fit for their real context using STATIK, the Systems Thinking Approach to Introducing Kanban: understanding sources of dissatisfaction, analyzing demand and capability, modeling workflow, discovering classes of service, and designing the visual board, work item types, and commitment points. Through simulation and hands-on design work, participants leave with a Kanban system designed for one of their own services.
